Some of you have asked if I’d share my home movies (circa 1987) when I was an (overweight) teen with my own candy store in Bountiful, Utah.

The best reason you came up with was: “It will humanize you.” I’m all about being human, so here’s the first video clip from Salt Lake City’s channel 4.

Duude, finally!
Cute as hell!
You’re working that whole power vest thing. I was expecting you to reach out your hand, and say, “I’m Sam Francis, and I’ll be expecting your vote this November.”
If I saw that video when it came out, I’d tell myself that that kid was going to grow up to be amazing–and I’d be right.

OMG Sam that is soooooo cute! What I want to know is, what ever happened to Sam’s Candy’s? I’m guessing you changed the name to ‘Francis Farmer,’ went national, and ended up selling the chain to the Marriott Corporation for an undi$closed amount.
